CIPA General Assembly

On last May 30, CIPA closed its congress by organizing its traditional general assembly

After all the different interventions that illustrated one after another the need to sustainably manage UAP and the possibility of improving quantitatively and qualitatively the collections, she renewed her roadmap and confirmed the commitment of international plasticulture in favor of efficient agro-ecology and an efficient circular economy.

Highlighting the French expertise and the results recorded by the APE sectors, the CIPA GA warmly thanked the CPA and its President, Paul Cammal, for the work accomplished during the last 3 years and for the encouraging success of the XXI Congress.

At the end of the meeting, China agreed to organize the XXII Congress which will take place in Shanghai in 2021. In accordance with the statute, the country was also entrusted with the Chairmanship of the Committee, and Dr. Yan Changrong, a professor at the China Academy of Agricultural Science (CAAS), was unanimously elected. This pioneer of Asian plasticulture, fervent supporter of responsible agriculture, succeeds au Français, Paul Cammal.
