Memorandum of Understanding between Polieco and APE Europe

APE Europe and Polieco - the Italian consortium in charge of the management of used polyethylene products - signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the Polieco International Forum in Naples on Friday 8 October 2021. The Memorandum foresees an enhanced cooperation between the two organisations to ensure an integrated management of agricultural plastics in Italy. Polieco, as the legitimate representative of the Italian plastic industry, will join APE Europe, which will be responsible for its representation at European level. APE Europe will also bring its technical and economic expertise in the integrated management of agricultural plastics: eco-design, collection systems, development of recycling capacities... An Italian edition of Plasticulture magazine will also be launched with the support of Polieco, to be the voice of plastic growers and to allow the dissemination of innovations and best practices.
